June 3, 2002, marked a new chapter in the history of Home Telephone Company with the opening of its new office facility in Moncks Corner. Home’s new two-story structure covers 12 acres and measures 27,000 square feet. Over two acres of the property are preserved wetlands, and two retention ponds prevent water from being deposited downstream. The employees pictured represent a sample of all the great people who make up the Home team. According to Robert Helmly, CEO & Vice Chair, “We hope this new building is convenient to the public and brings as much pride to the community as it has to our employees.” 
Home Telephone Company continues to grow and today has an all-digital central office serving 23,000 access lines.
