HomeXpressway.Net: As a service to our thousands of valued customers, Home Telephone offers HomeXpressway.Net, a community portal that offers a wealth of information about life and living in your community.Email Newsletter: Sent monthly to all Net@Home customers, the email newsletter provides valuable tricks, tips and information to help you navigate the world wide web.
Postini Email Filtering: In response to our customers’ requests for assistance in filtering Spam from their email accounts, Home Telephone began offering a new FREE service to all Net@Home customers. Through an agreement with Postini email service, Home Telephone offers customers the option to filter Spam and viruses from their email. Postini allows ISPs, such as Net@Home, to offer end-users an additional layer of Spam and virus blocking that is configurable to each user’s specifications. The service will capture suspicious email messages before they even enter our mail servers and place them in a holding area called a “Message Center.” Users are then notified that messages are being held and may visit the Message Center to review or delete the messages. Postini also benefits end-users by successfully thwarting Denial of Service attacks and keeping viruses off our network.
